The United States on-farm grain storage capacity totaled 13-point-5 billion bushels on December 1st, up less than 1 percent. The capacity of off-farm commercial grain storage in the United States totaled 11.2 billion bushels on December 1st, up 1 percent.
Wisconsin has 735 million bushels of grain storage capacity. On-farm storage was 375 million bushels as of December 1st, the same as 2016. The state’s 370 off-farm facilities have the same 360 million bushel capacity as the previous year.
