Direct cash cattle trade has been very quiet as business is essentially completed for the week. The majority of trade was at $120.00 on a live basis and $192.00 dressed. Mandatory reports have weekly trade volume totals over 18,000 head in Kansas; almost 32,000 head in Nebraska; 6,500 head in Texas; 9,700 head in Colorado; and 16,000 head in Iowa. The few cattle remaining on showlists are priced around $122.00 in the South and $194.00 in the North.
