Direct cash cattle trade is quiet, and it’s looking more and more like business is essentially finished for the week. Light to moderate trade took place early this week at mostly $120.00 live and $190.00 dressed. Asking prices for the few cattle that do remain on showlists are around $122 in the South and $194 in the North.
Boxed beef is mixed at the midday on light to moderate box movement. Choice down $1.17 at $208.89 and Select up $.57 at $203.80.
