Climate Scientists are studying the odds of a U.S. megadrought.
University of Minnesota professor of geography Scott St. George, part of a team of researchers from across the country, says he’s using natural clues like tree rings and lake sediments to narrow down the probability of a drought that could last for decades.
“If we’re able to look a little bit further into the past (like) over the last thousands of years or so, then we can see some events that are just different.
