Direct cash cattle trade is quiet following the early week light to moderate trade activity. Most of yesterday’s deals were done at $120.00 live and $192 dressed. While most of the business was steady with Monday, live deals were $1 to $1.50 lower and dressed deals were mostly $3 lower than the previous week’s weighted average. Some cleanup trade is still a possibility, but it looks like the bulk of the week’s business has been completed.
