More early week direct cash cattle trade continues to develop across parts of cattle country. Dressed business in the North looks to be about $3.00 lower than last week. Live deals in both the North and South are steady with yesterday, but $1.00 to $1.50 lower than last week. The strong basis is seemingly incentivizing some to move cattle. And with more inclement weather moving in to several areas later this week – it could be adding to the early week activity.
