Soybeans were modestly lower on commercial and technical selling, finishing towards the lower end of the day’s trading range. Most forecasts for South America are generally better for Brazil than Argentina, but still basically non-threatening. New supply and demand numbers are out Friday, including potential changes to South American production estimates, along with the final 2017 production numbers and quarterly stocks. January soybean and product contracts expire Friday. Soybean meal was lower and bean oil was higher on the adjustment of product spreads.
