Direct cash cattle trade is quiet with the action limited to the distribution of new showlists.  As the market looks for direction – we can anticipate another late-week showdown and significant trade volume will likely be delayed until Thursday or even Friday.  It took until Friday last week for a light to moderate trade to take place.  Northern dressed trade ranged from $193.00 to $195.00 – steady to $2.00 lower than the previous week’s weighted average basis in Nebraska.
