Indiana farmers are finding out how to better understand “What’s N” their fields. During a workshop hosted by Indiana Corn and Soybean, farmers are learning how to better evaluate their management practices, learn new strategies, and learn what practices work for other farmers.
Purdue University professor Shalamar Armstrong says investing in cover crops will help improve yields and water quality.
He says farmers should use the winter to make a plan to implement soil health practices.
