Direct cash cattle trade has picked up with a few more bids on the table in parts of Texas and Nebraska. Asking prices are around $126.00 to $127.00 in the South and $200.00 plus in the North. Packer inquiry should continue to improve throughout the day – but significant trade volume could be delayed until Friday. Bids have been reported at $121.00 in Texas and $193.00 dressed in Nebraska.
Boxed beef is mixed at the midday on light to moderate box movement.
