Direct cash cattle trade is quiet. Bids and asking prices are few and far between. DTN has reported a few steers and heifers priced around $126 to $127 in parts of the South. We don’t expect significant trade volume to develop until sometime on Thursday or even into Friday.
Wednesday brought about another lackluster Fed Cattle Exchange. There were just 388 head offered with zero sold. Last week’s offering had 637 head with zero sold.
