
Soybeans closed lower Thursday with traders keeping an eye on South American weather. There was rain in northern Argentina and another favorable seven-day forecast for both Brazil and Argentina. DTN says soybeans were pressured by Thursday’s drop in soybean oil prices. U.S. soybean exports are behind last year’s pace.
Corn was lower Thursday with plenty of corn in storage resulting in a bearish market. A positive story is the higher price of corn at Brazilian ports versus corn at U.S.
