The USDA says producers paid and made more in November than in October.
The index of prices received was up more than four percent on the month, with an eight percent increase in the livestock index and a one percent drop in crops as higher prices for broiler chickens, market eggs, cattle, and hogs canceled out decreases in apples, corn, lettuce, and turkeys.
Marketings during November were up for cattle, corn, milk, and cotton, down for soybeans, grapes, potatoes, and wheat.
