Despite current low commodity prices, Bayer’s Crop Science Division president is bullish on agriculture.

Liam Condon, President of Bayer Crop Science said the world’s first industry is about to change forever and for the better. Condon tells Brownfield multiple different technologies are finally starting to come together.

“Major advances in biotechnology, gene editing combined with advances in chemical sciences, combined with everything that is going on with digitalization. And if you take what is going on with advances now in the microbiome, the understanding of what is happening in the soil beneath the earth.
