The president and CEO of Renewable Fuels Association says a recent study by the association shows that the concerns opponents of the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) have expressed are unfounded.
Bob Dinneen says oil companies and other RFS opponents claimed the program would cause an increase in food prices.
He says that hasn’t happened.
“Overall food price inflation in 2007 was 4 percent and in 2017 it was 1 percent,” he says.
