Governor Mark Dayton has sent a list of Farm Bill priorities to Minnesota’s Congressional delegation.
In a letter, Dayton says Minnesotans would like to see a focus on fostering a robust farm and rural economy, maintaining a strong nutrition title, and prioritizing conservation and water quality programs.
Dayton says the next Farm Bill will have a profound impact on the health of Minnesota’s farm and rural economies, making a strong safety net for crops and dairy, as well as expanded rural broadband access, essential to the legislation.
