The USDA reports corn and wheat export sales for the week ending December 14th were above most pre-report estimates, while soybeans and soybean products were at the high end of analyst expectations. Physical shipments of beans, corn, and wheat remain slower than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2017/18 marketing year.
Wheat hit a new marketing year high at 796,300 tons (29.3 million bushels), 35% higher than the week ending December 7th and up sharply from the four week average.
