Two big providers of bovine genetics will merge if they get government approval. The boards of directors for both Koepon Holding BV and Cooperative Resources International approved a plan to combine the companies by mid-2018.
Netherlands-based Koepon Holding has Alta Genetics and Valley Ag Software. They also have SCCL in Canada, which makes dehydrated colostrum for calves. Cooperative Resources International has GENEX. CRI also has reproductive technologies through MOFA Global and testing services offered through AgSource.
