A leading organic food company is making a significant investment in its Crookston, Minnesota facility.
SunOpta Incorporated has announced plans to expand its roasted nuts operation in Crookston, while consolidating customers and capabilities from its Wahpeton (WAH-peh-ton), North Dakota location.
SunOpta will cease operations in Wahpeton during the second fiscal quarter of 2018.
The Canadian company says the move will further SunOpta’s commitment to produce food products of the highest quality and safety for its customers, and provide greater efficiencies as part of their overall optimization strategy.
