The executive vice president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation says the group has created a new two-year strategic plan as it prepares for its 100th anniversary in 2019.
Adam Sharp says farmers are most concerned about advocacy, which is why it is the main objective in the strategic plan.
“While we’re out doing our work and trying to protect, grow, and develop our businesses, we want Farm Bureau to be looking out for us in government actions, with the media, and with the public,” he says.
