Soybeans were modestly lower on speculative and technical selling, notching another round of new lows for the move. Many forecasts have more rain over the next week in dry parts of South America. Some longer term weather models do disagree, but overall, conditions generally look good right now. It’s effectively mid-to-late June for crops in the southern hemisphere and the current La Nina conditions are expected to persist through their summer.
