Commentary.
As Jim and I hauled the perfectly sculpted Scotch Pine, still in net wrap, through the back door and into the living room, I was overwhelmed with memories of not-so-well-sculpted Cedar trees cut down with a hatchet and decorated lovingly with old Christmas ornaments and silver tinsel. The memory that I still cannot shake must be nearly fifty years old. My sister and I were playing with new toys on the floor at Grandma and Grandpa Young’s house in front of a Warm Morning stove.
