At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures closed mostly lower on technical pressure in light trade volume. The December live contract closed higher on position squaring ahead of its expiration. Traders look to hold their ground heading into Friday’s Cattle on Feed and Cold Storage reports. December live cattle were $.02 higher at $120.00 and February live cattle closed $.15 lower at $120.45. January feeder cattle closed $2.45 lower at $145.20 and March feeder cattle closed $1.95 lower at $143.30.
