The USDA reports soybean export inspections for the week ending December 14th were solid, but this marketing year’s pace continues to trail last year.
Wheat came out at 585,637 tons, up 231,110 from the week ending December 7th and 101,830 higher than the week ending December 15th, 2016. Just over halfway through the 2017/18 marketing year, wheat inspections are 13,696,561 tons, compared to 14,590,204 in 2016/17.
Corn was reported at 605,329 tons, down 112,590 from the previous week and 199,912 lower than this time last year.
