A market analyst has concluded the grain market is one weather problem away from major price changes.
Kluis Commodities president Al Kluis says in looking back at long-term charts, the sideways trading pattern in corn resembles late 2006.
“The fundamentals were very negative (and) the market was chopping along sideways. Demand was growing tremendously, and then all of a sudden a couple weather problems popped up and prices went higher.”
