A new report predicts the food robotics market will be worth more than $3.3 billion dollars by 2025.
Business consulting firm Grand View Research conducted the study based on growing demand for packaged food, increasing food safety regulations, high labor costs, and the corresponding need for automation.
The report says food robotics is seeing major investment in R&D, with a focus on palletizing, repackaging, picking, and processing.
The packaging segment is presumed to hold the highest growth rate over the forecast years.
