The Missouri Department of Agriculture has finalized use restrictions for the two other dicamba herbicide products for 2018, following its restrictions for BASF’s Engenia, announced last month. A department spokesperson says the restrictions are the same for all three products, now including Monsanto’s Xtendimax and Dupont’s Fexapan.
All three will have the same special local needs label for use on dicamba-tolerant soybeans and cotton in Missouri.
Applicators must be certified and trained; the products are prohibited after June 1st, 2018 in 10 southeast Missouri counties, and after June 15th in all other Missouri counties.
