Indiana farmer Anngie Steinbarger says trade is critical for every US farmer.
She tells Brownfield farmers can’t rely on the domestic market and farmers need access to more markets.
“I’m a soybean farmer and a corn farmer and without the export market, there’s nowhere for my beans to go,” she says. “I really need to be active in pursuing more opportunities for trade.”
She says exports help support corn and soybeans prices.
