At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures were mostly lower on technical selling and pressure from this week’s cash trade. While wholesale values did bounce today – this week’s lower move has also added pressure to prices. December live cattle were $.05 lower at $115.57 and February live cattle were $.37 lower at $118.30. January feeder cattle were $1.10 lower at $145.22 and March feeder cattle were $1.17 lower at $143.32.
Direct cash cattle trade ended the week quiet.
