The administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency says he remains committed to evaluating the Renewable Fuels Standard each year.
Scott Pruitt testified before the environmental subcommittee of the US House Energy and Commerce Committee last week and was asked if changes would be made to the RFS renewable volume obligations.
“I can’t commit to certain outcomes in respect to that process, that’s the rule-making process, but what I can tell you is what I shared earlier, we will objectively determine each year what the production levels look like they’re going to be,” he says.
