Texas Senator Ted Cruz is reportedly meeting with President Trump and other cabinet officials today to discuss Cruz’s concerns with the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS).

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says he was not invited to the meeting. But Grassley tells reporters he’s not too concerned.

“Not if the President keeps doing what he told the voters of Iowa—and what he’s told me and Senator (Joni) Ernest so many times—that he supports ethanol,” Grassley says

Cruz continues to block a Senate vote on Iowa ag secretary Bill Northey’s nomination to a USDA undersecretary position.
