A farmer director of the United Soybean Board says farmers need to demand higher value soybeans from their seed dealers.
He’s Jim Domalgowski of Michigan, who is attending the USB annual meeting in St. Louis, “In the past, the oil content and meal has been at a steady decline and that affects our competitive oils like canola, palm, etc. And we want to get back up there where belong to be more competitive.”
Domalgowski says farmers need to demand a higher oil content from their seed dealers, “And, we have to demand, and I use the word demand from the seed companies to designate the traits that are in that seed.
