Soybeans were higher on commercial and technical buying. Conditions generally look good in most of Brazil, but southern portions of that nation and much of Argentina are expected to see a drier pattern, in-line with La Nina conditions. It’s roughly early June for crops in the southern hemisphere, so there is a long way to go, but if some of the South American crop is lost because of weather, most of that demand would switch to the U.S.
