Direct cash cattle trade is quiet with just a few scattered bids in parts of Nebraska. Asking prices are still not fully established but DTN reports a few steers and heifers in the South could be priced near $121.00. Bids have been reported in Nebraska at $187.00. It looks like significant trade volume will likely be delayed until the latter part of the week.
Boxed beef is steady to higher at the midday on light to moderate box movement.
