Soybean growers are looking for ways to better manage white mold.
Southeast Minnesota farmer Mike Petefish says the plant disease was prolific in his area this year.
“Unfortunately there’s not a lot of good management strategies to handle white mold. We’re attempting a few things (including) bacteria that attacks the white mold reproductive units to help mitigate some of the infection in the field.”
He tells Brownfield there’s a combination of strategies growers can try.
