An extension soybean agronomist in Minnesota says 2017 will be remembered for its high number of strong weather events.
Seth Naeve with the University of Minnesota tells Brownfield there were numerous localized weather extremes throughout the summer.
“Every year is (similar) with drought, floods, hail, and everything somewhere. But it seemed like this year we just had a little bit more of that.”
Neave says he can’t remember a Minnesota growing season with more hail damage.
