Direct cash cattle trade is quiet with action limited to the distribution of new showlists. Don’t look for significant trade volume to develop before Wednesday or later. A light to moderate trade developed last week with live deals in the South ranging from $119.00 to $121.00 generally $2 to $3 higher than the previous week’s weighted average. Light to moderate business also developed in the North with dressed trade business at $188.00 to $190.00 generally $1 higher than the previous week’s weighted average basis in Nebraska.
