The chairman of Foremost Farms says he’s excited to see dairy production growing in the Upper Midwest and the cooperative’s plans to build a condensing plant in Michigan will improve farmers’ bottom line.
Dave Scheevel milks 130 cows in Preston, Minnesota. He tells Brownfield while milk production is not growing as rapidly in his state, it is in the surrounding Great Lakes states and the announcement of a new plant benefits members no matter where they farm.
