South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association President Larry Stomprud says the state’s cattle producers are optimistic in spite of West River drought. Stomprud says there’s good demand for beef and China has recently reopened access to its market.
“We’re hopeful that President Trump and his negotiators don’t do any harm in NAFTA and that they go forward soon with bilateral agreements with the U.K., with Japan and others,” said Stomprud Friday, in an interview with Brownfield Ag News.
