Light direct cash cattle trade is being reported in the North following up on yesterday’s light to moderate trade activity. Moderate trade activity was reported in the South with live deals at mostly $121 – $3.00 higher than last week’s weighted average. The majority of yesterday’s Northern trade was live deals at $120 to $121 with a few dressed sales at $190. Asking prices for remaining showlists are around $122 to $123.00 in the South and $195.00 in the North, with bids reported at $120 to $121 live and $189 to $190 dressed.
