The CEO of an Indiana software company says farmers are falling behind because of a lack connectivity.
Clear Object’s John McDonald says if the future of farming is based on the ability to improve yields through automated farming, then farmers with little to no connectivity are at a major disadvantage.
“If you can’t get data back live and be able to make changes and adapt to what’s happening in that field, you’re not going to be in a good position compared to the farmer who can,” he says.
