EPA maintaining RFS levels leaves room for improvement

The head of the Renewable Fuels Association calls EPA’s final Renewable Fuel Standards for 2018 a ‘mixed bag’ for the industry.
“It does affirm the President’s support for the Renewable Fuel Standard generally, and increased ethanol use specifically, but we view it largely as a missed opportunity because they could have done more.”
Bob Dinneen tells Brownfield the EPA has maintained the 15 billion gallon requirement for conventional ethanol following the statute set by Congress.
