U.S. ethanol production dipped slightly last week.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.066 million barrels a day, down 8,000 from the previous week’s record high. That week to week decline was at least partially because of Thanksgiving, but corn is readily available and margins are good with a recent dip in price.
Stocks were up 147,000 barrels on the week at 22.044 million, topping 22 million barrels for the first time since mid-July.
