At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures ended the day higher on technical support in light trade volume. Contracts look to be waiting for cash trade to take shape – and are positioned well to capitalize on any additional upside should it arise. December live cattle closed $.82 higher at $120.47 and February live cattle closed $.92 higher at $126.60. January feeder cattle closed $1.07 higher at $155.57 and March feeder cattle closed $.95 higher at $153.77.
