The USDA is set to survey about 90,000 producers for key grain and livestock reports.
During the first two weeks of December, the department will collect information on harvested acreage, production, and storage for 2017 row crop production totals out January 12th, 2018, along with county level numbers for the Agriculture Risk Coverage program and Risk Management Agency insurance programs due out later in the year.
The USDA will also survey hog producers for herd size, pig crop, and six month farrowing intentions for the quarterly hogs and pigs report scheduled for December 22nd.
