Direct cash cattle trade is quiet with bids and asking prices not fully established. That’s pretty typical for a Tuesday. There have been some rumors of a few steers and heifers in the South moving at $121.00. For the most part sellers look to be waiting for more signs of cash potential before pricing ready numbers. Significant trade volume could be delayed until tomorrow or even later.
Boxed beef is weak to sharply higher at the midday on moderate box movement.
