Minnesota livestock producers have more time to apply for grant money to help prevent wolf attacks.
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has extended the deadline for its Wolf-Livestock Conflict Prevention grant an additional three weeks because of the late harvest, so applications will be accepted through December 15th.
MDA says $120,000 dollars is available to producers this fiscal year–which runs through the end of June–and another $120,000 will be available next fiscal year.
