Minnesota-based Great Plains Processing (GPP) is expanding operations to South Dakota.
The custom spray-drying and animal feed ingredient manufacturer, which is headquartered in Luverne, announced plans to build a spec building on 20 acres of land in Yankton.
Great Plains worked with the South Dakota Board of Economic Development to secure more than $1 million dollars in loans to assist with the expansion.
GPP products can be found in feeds for many species, including bovine, equine, swine, and domesticated pets.
