Monsanto says it has amended its lawsuit, originally filed in September, against the Arkansas Plant Board. Scott Partridge, vice president of global strategy for Monsanto, tells Brownfield Ag News, “This amendment to that lawsuit is a result of the Arkansas Plant Board’s most recent, arbitrary act. Without a basis in science, the Arkansas Plant Board has decided that ALL dicamba products should be banned as of April 15, for next year.”
Partridge says that is an unfair decision for Arkansas growers were they wanting to use Monsanto’s Xtendimax or any other dicamba herbicide.
