The Indiana State Poultry Association has donated poultry products to Hoosiers in need the week of Thanksgiving for the last 70 years.
This year the association has donated 75 tons, or 150,000 pounds, of poultry products that will be distributed to food banks around the state.
The association’s executive vice president Paul Brennan says the event has evolved over the years, but the poultry producer’s willingness to give to Hoosiers in need has remained the same.
